It’s been 25 years since the PGA Championship made its way to the West Coast. Over the years, there have been many legendary and iconic moments as some of the game’s top players chased the Wanamaker Trophy. Rory McIlroy at Kiawah Island. Phil Mickelson at Baltusrol. Justin Thomas at Quail Hollow. Tiger Woods at Valhalla. The list goes on. But that was the East Coast. This is TPC Harding Park in the heart of San Francisco. It’s past winners like Woods, Mickelson, McIlroy, Thomas and Jason Day who will be chasing Brooks Koepka, winner of the last two PGA Championships. As President William Taft once said, it’s “the city that knows how.” Come May, it will be the city that crowns another champion.
