PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (May 12, 2020) – The PGA of America today announced that Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma, will host the 2030 PGA Championship.
Southern Hills was originally awarded a record fifth PGA Championship in June 2017, although at the time of the announcement, the year of play had yet to be determined.
In the interim, Southern Hills will host the 2021 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, May 25-30. The KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship is regarded as the most historic and prestigious major championship in senior golf.
Founded in 1936, Southern Hills has hosted seven previous major championships, beginning with the 1958 U.S. Open, won by Tommy Bolt, through Tiger Woods’ PGA Championship triumph in 2007, when he captured the Wanamaker Trophy for the fourth time.
