After a frost delay pushed back the start of the 105th PGA Championship, Scott Stallings provided fireworks early with a 128-yard hole out for eagle on the par-4 10th hole, giving the gallery something to cheer about early at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y.
The approach shot bounced twice, checked up and rolled left and into the hole.
And THAT is how you start your #PGAChamp.

After missing the cut in his last two tournaments, Stallings could not have dreamed of a better start to the opening round of his sixth PGA Championship. Stallings’ best finish at the PGA Championship came in 2013 at Oak Hill when he shot 6-over to finish in a tie for 55th place.
Stallings last won on the PGA TOUR in 2014 at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego, Calif.
Kazuki Higa is the early leader, however, and sits at 3 under, making birdies on the 11th, 12th and 13th holes. He started his round on the 10th.
