What Did I Miss?

It had been a magical week for PGA Professional Michael Block before he stepped up to the 15th tee. Then it got even more magical when his tee shot found the bottom of the cup for this incredible ace.
WOW.....INCREDIBLE
Will Zalatoris just made one of the most incredible bogeys you've ever seen. Amazing.

On the par-3 sixth hole he hit a terrible shot right and into a bush. After a 15-minute ordeal, taking an unplayable lie and trying to figure out where to actually drop the ball and put it in play, Zalatoris decided that the best position would be to hit it from the cart path.

So, yes, from the cart path, Zalatoris chipped it to 5 feet and made the bogey putt to save from further damage. He's now at 7 under par and only two shots behind Mito Pereira.

Incredible drama there.
Hole 6
Mito back in the solo lead
Mito Pereira birdied the par-5 fifth hole to regain the solo lead at 9 under par, on shot ahead of Will Zalatoris.

But Zalatoris has a bit of an issue up ahead on the sixth hole as he hit his tee shot in the left bushes. He is currently taking an unplayable lie and would do good to make no worse than bogey from his position.

Stay tuned...
Hole 5
TIE AT THE TOP....
Will Zalatoris just birdied the par-5 fifth hole and, after starting the round three shots behind Mito Pereira, he's now tied for the lead standing on the sixth tee.

Zalatoris has made two birdies against Pereira's one bogey.
Fitz bounces back
Is now only two shots back
Matt Fitzpatrick just birdied the par-4 fourth hole from short range after a wedge from 75 yards ended 3 feet from the hole. After bogey at the first, he made two pars, then made birdie there on the fourth.

He's now at 6 under par for the week and only two shots behind leader Mito Pereira.
Hole 4
Willy Z makes birdie
Closes the gap quickly
Will Zalatoris just birdied the fourth hole, only mere minutes after Mito Pereira bogeyed the third hole.

The lead, which started at two, is now down to one.
Hole 4
First blemish for Mito
Tournament leader Mito Pereira just bogeyed the par-4 third hole to drop a shot. He's now at 8 under and holds a two shot lead over Will Zalatoris.
